How YOU can help Us!

Girlguiding only exists because of people who volunteer their time free of charge. Our Adult Leaders are unpaid volunteers, who receive training and are fully police (CRB) checked.

If you can spare an hour a week you could help 1st Brackla Rainbows by becoming an Adult Helper or, if you are interested, becoming an Assistant Leader. Barny, the Leader in Charge of the Unit, is happy to provide plenty of support and encouragement!

BUT if you can't spare an hour a week, you can still help us. Even if you can only spare an hour a term, coming along to give a hand with our activities and crafts is incredibly helpful. Our Rainbows range in age from 5 to 7 and often need a helping hand with cutting and glueing - so the more hands we have available to help the better it is for the Rainbows.

Another way you can help our Unit is by providing your expertise to us! It's lovely to have parents (or organisations) come and get involved with our Unit. If you have an interesting job or hobby, why not get in touch and we can build an activity around it! So whether you are an expert knitter, a keep-fit coach, enjoy cooking or work as an ecologist, we can use your help!

If you would like more information please complete the Enquiry form and Barny will get in touch for a chat.

Thank you VERY much for taking the time to read this page.
