How to Join 1st Brackla Rainbows
1st Brackla Rainbows Unit has been up and running since 2008. For your daughter's safety, Girlguiding UK makes sure
that each Rainbows Unit has a minimum of 2 adults at each meeting. To make sure
we can give the girls our best attention, we try and keep to a ratio of
1 adult to around every 5 girls. That means with 2 leaders we have around 10
girls in the Unit. Both Barny and Crazy are unpaid volunteers and
therefore any offers of help or assistance in running the Unit would be
very gratefully received! We also have Leader-in-Training in our Unit, Screechy, who is working towards her Leadership Qualification.
Please note that at the moment our Unit is currently full - this is great news for us, but not such great news for you
if you have a daughter who wants to join our Rainbow Unit.
We have, however, set up a Waiting List for any
girls who are not yet 5 years old. We do recommend putting your daughter's name down on our Waiting List as soon as you are able (even if she is only 3!).
If your daughter is already 5 or more we
will try and help find a place in another local Unit or, depending on her age and the length of our Waiting List, will happily
place her name on the Waiting List and contact you as soon as a place
becomes available.
