Our Centenary Year - Autumn 2009 to Autumn 2010

Celebrating 100 years of Girlguiding in the UK was a very special thing to be able to do with a Rainbow Unit that had only been up and running for one year. For starters it meant we and even more reasons to PARTY! It also meant that we could work towards a very special badge: Adventure 100 which involved gaining 100 points in a wide range of activities.

Autumn 2009 saw us start by talking about Girlguiding in the UK and around the World and how special a Centenary was. In our first week we welcomed new Rainbows, made friend rosettes and played a getting to know you musical pairs game.
